Kristin Henry is the author of 5 collections of poetry, two
non-fiction books and, most recently, the verse novel All The Way Home, published by UWAP. Kristin doesn’t call herself a
performance poet, but she loves delivering her words to a live audience.
Sometimes there’s even a little singing involved. Kristin is a storyteller
whose medium is verse. She writes both from experience and a wicked
imagination. Often her poetry is friendly
and accessible, perhaps funny. But as the late Dorothy Porter noted, “Henry’s
devious lyricism…is a timely reminder that poetry can be both fun and very
deadly”.
