Alex Skovron is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Autographs, as well as a prose novella, The Poet. His work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies in Australia
and overseas. The many public readings he has given have included appearances
in China, Serbia, India, Ireland, and on Norfolk Island. A selection of his
poetry translated into French is published by PEN under the title The Attic. His New & Selected Poems is due from Puncher & Wattmann next
year. A volume of short stories is also in preparation. Alex lives in Melbourne
and works as a freelance book editor.
